Comparison

Ringba decides who gets the call. We decide whether it was any good.

Ringba is the serious tool for pay-per-call: real-time bidding, ring trees, buyer caps, payouts. It's built to move a call to the highest bidder in milliseconds, and nothing here competes with that. The question it doesn't answer is the one every buyer eventually asks you: was this lead actually worth what I paid for it? That argument is usually settled with call duration, which is a terrible proxy.

Moving the call versus grading it
Ringba

Pay-per-call networks, affiliates, and lead marketplaces: real-time bidding, ring trees, caps, payouts, and the reporting that settles who owes whom.

Callix

The people on either end of those calls who get judged on quality. Publishers proving the traffic was real, buyers proving their agents handled it, and the agencies sitting between them.

The dispute

\u201cIt lasted three minutes\u201d is not evidence.

Every pay-per-call relationship eventually argues about lead quality, and duration is the only number both sides have. A scored transcript replaces the argument with the actual conversation, which is why buyers accept it.

Lead quality: unqualified

Wrong state, no budget, wanted a product the buyer doesn't sell.

“I'm in Ontario, is that alright? And I'm really just pricing it up for next year.”

Caller · 0:22

The same call, as each side can describe it in a dispute. Duration says the call connected. A scored transcript says whether the caller was ever going to buy.
When they're the better choice

Ringba is the tool if this is you.

Nothing on this page competes with real-time bidding, and we are not going to pretend otherwise.

  • You buy and sell calls, and routing to the highest bidder is the business model.
  • You need real-time bidding, an external buyer marketplace, caps, and payout reconciliation.
  • Your revenue is a function of distribution, not of how any single call was handled.
  • Nobody on your side answers the phone, so handling quality isn't yours to fix.

We'd rather lose the demo than the hour after it.

Before the call, and after it
When it acts
Ringba

Before the call connects: bid, route, cap, deliver.

Callix

After it ends: transcribe, score, explain, flag. We're never in the call path.

How quality is proven
RingbaDuration and conversion

Quality disputes are settled with the signals routing produces: connection, duration, buyer-reported conversion.

CallixScored transcript

Every call gets a lead quality score out of 100 with the reasoning quoted from the transcript: what the caller actually wanted, whether they qualified, which objections came up, and how the buyer's agent handled it. It cuts both ways, which is exactly what makes it usable in a dispute.

What it tells you about a source
Ringba

Volume, connection rates, and revenue per source.

Callix

Whether a source sends people who actually want the thing. Group scores by publisher and the bad traffic stops being a suspicion and becomes a number.

How the bill is built
Ringba

A monthly plan plus per-minute usage, with recording and transcription metered on top.

Callix

A published base with analysed hours included, then one flat per-hour rate. Every layer of analysis is in that rate; depth is not an upsell.

What you can change
Ringba

Configuration is buyers, targets, caps, and payout rules.

Callix

You define what every call is scored on and what gets extracted. Your questions become columns across the whole call table. Sector rubric packs on Growth and Scale; a rubric and fields built around your own process on Custom.

Reviewed August 2026. We describe what each product is built for rather than publishing a feature table, because those are wrong within weeks and the ✗ column is always the part that's wrong. Check current specifics on each vendor's own site.

What you get with us

Ringba decides who gets the call. We tell you whether it was any good.

Routing a call to the highest bidder in milliseconds is a different job from judging what happened on it. Callix is the quality layer: proof of what was delivered, and evidence for what the buyer did with it.

Quality scored on every call, not sampled

Every minute of every call graded for lead quality, intent, sentiment, objections, and red flags. Disputes stop being an argument about a recording nobody has time to listen to and become a number both sides can look at.

Your definition of a billable lead

Set the criteria and weighting yourself: intent, geography, qualification questions answered, budget signal. Any question you need answered about every call becomes a column you can filter and export, which makes reconciliation a spreadsheet instead of a negotiation.

Shows the buyer their own handling

When a buyer says the leads were poor, a per-call report shows how the call was actually handled: the qualified caller who was rushed, the callback that never came. That protects your margin and your relationship at the same time.

Coaching for whoever answers

If you own the buy side too, every call comes back with what was missed and what to say next time. Sales quality goes up on traffic you have already paid for, which is the cheapest conversion rate you will ever buy.

Priced per hour analysed

Affiliates, agencies, and lead-gen operators pay a published base with hours included and a flat rate after, with unlimited users on Scale. Volume that swings month to month bills the way it actually ran.

See it on your own calls

Bring a recording you already have. We'll score it live.

What you'd actually be looking at

Quality, by publisher and by buyer.

Group scores by source and the traffic sending unqualified callers stops being a suspicion. Group them by buyer and you can see whose agents are burning the leads you sent.

Where Callix fits

Built for the teams the enterprise tools price out.

SMBs

Five to fifty people, revenue arriving over the phone, and nobody with a spare afternoon to review calls by hand.

Agencies

Prove the leads you sent were real, and show a client exactly where their front desk lost the ones that weren't.

In-house marketing

You already know which campaigns ring the phone. This is the half of the funnel that starts after someone picks up.

Business owners

One login, plain-language scores, and the calls worth listening to picked out for you. No analyst in the middle.

Questions worth asking

Ask on both sides of the trade. Including us.

  1. 1Is our problem where calls go, or what happens on them? Buy for whichever is actually broken.
  2. 2When a buyer disputes lead quality, what evidence do we have beyond call duration?
  3. 3Can we score by publisher and by buyer, so both sides of the transaction are measurable?
  4. 4Does every call get analysed, or a sample?
  5. 5What happens to our recordings: retention, deletion, and whether they train anyone's model.

Common questions

Questions we get asked.

No, and it isn't close. Ringba routes and monetises calls in real time, runs an external buyer marketplace, and reconciles payouts. We do none of that. If you need bidding and distribution, you need Ringba or something like it, and Callix reads the recordings afterwards.

It's the most common reason pay-per-call operators come to us. Instead of arguing about a three-minute call, you have a scored transcript showing what the caller wanted, whether they matched the buyer's criteria, and how the agent handled it. Buyers use the same evidence on their side, which is why it settles things rather than escalating them.

No. Callix works from the recordings your existing stack already produces and stays out of the call path entirely. If you leave us, nothing about your delivery changes.
